1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ChoreCraft ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ChoreCraft regarding your use of our mobile application ("App") and related services.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ChoreCraft, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

ChoreCraft is a household chore management application that allows families to:

• Create and assign chores to household members
• Track chore completion and progress
• Manage rewards and coin-based incentives
• Schedule recurring chores
• Organize household tasks and responsibilities

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ChoreCraft. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App and that they have agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By using ChoreCraft, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• All information you provide is accurate and current

4. User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must create an account to use ChoreCraft
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Account Security

• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access
• You may not share your account credentials with others

5. Premium Subscriptions

Subscription Plans

ChoreCraft offers premium subscription plans:

• Monthly Subscription: Auto-renewing monthly subscription
• Annual Subscription: Auto-renewing annual subscription

Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings after purchase

Subscription Pricing

• Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect

Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's and Google's refund policies
• We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions

Free Trial

• If offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
• You will be charged at the end of the free trial period
• You can cancel during the free trial to avoid charges

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Violate or infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or store personal data about other users without permission

7. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• ChoreCraft and all content, features, and functionality are owned by us
• Our trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property
• You may not use our intellectual property without our written permission

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you create or upload to ChoreCraft
• By using the App, you grant us a license to use, store, and display your content to provide the service
• You represent that you have the right to grant this license

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Termination

By You

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account or uninstalling the App.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will immediately cease
• We may delete your account and data
• Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Providing notice through the App or via email

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation
• If negotiation fails, through binding arbitration in accordance with UK arbitration rules
• You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ChoreCraft regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and ChoreCraft, not Apple
• Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
• Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if applicable)
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms

If you downloaded the App from Google Play:

• These Terms are between you and ChoreCraft, not Google
• Google is not responsible for the App or its content
• Google has no obligation to provide support for the App
• Google is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
