If you choose to upload photos for chores (before/after photos), these are stored securely in our cloud storage. You can delete these photos at any time by deleting the associated chore.

Your data is stored securely using Firebase Cloud Services (Google Cloud Platform), with servers located in the United States. Firebase is a industry-leading platform that provides enterprise-grade security and reliability.

• Authentication - Secure password-based authentication with optional biometric login (Face ID/Touch ID)
• Access Control - Strict database security rules ensure users can only access their own household data

• Secure Infrastructure - Hosted on Google Cloud Platform with 99.9% uptime SLA

3.3 Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

5.1 Access and Export

5.4 Biometric Data

If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, your biometric data is stored securely on your device only. We never receive or store your biometric data on our servers. You can disable biometric authentication at any time in Settings.

6. Children's Privacy

ChoreCraft is designed for use by families and may be used by children under the age of 13 as part of a family household. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• Parental Control - We provide parental controls allowing adults to mark household members as children

7. Premium Subscriptions

If you purchase a premium subscription:

• Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• We do not store your payment card information
• We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from the app store

ChoreCraft is operated from the United Kingdom, but our data is stored on Google Cloud Platform servers in the United States. By using our app, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will:
